Championship Show, 6th February 2010

The Club's 30th Championship Show was held at the Llanishen Leisure Centre, Cardiff, on Saturday February 6th 2010. Dogs were judged by Mrs. Susan Marskell (Berolee) and Bitches by Mrs. Marion Hopkinson (Rocheby).  The referee was Mr. Richard Edwards (Lasgarn).  Junior Handling Association Classes were judged by Mrs. Amanda Deane. The show drew an entry of 115 Dogs and 145 Bitches, making a total of 260. Entries into the 31 breed classes totalled 334.

Bitch C.C. winner and, by agreement of both Judges, Best In Show was Mrs. J. Charlton's Sretlaw Spring Connection With Foxrush, winner of Limit Bitch. Reserve Bitch C.C. went to the winner of Junior Bitch, Mr. & Mrs. C. Mills's Lembas Mamma Mia J.W.

In the dog ring the winner of Open Dog, Ms. L. Harvey Major and Mrs. A. Allen's Sh.Ch. Brockburrow Cassanova In Linjor J.W.,Sh.C.M. took the C.C. and was Best Opposite Sex and Reserve Best In Show. The Reserve Dog C.C. was taken by the 2nd in Open Dog, Mr.& Mrs. A.R.V. & Miss R. Hodge's Sh.Ch. Naiken Way Out West J.W.

Best Puppy In Show was Mrs. S. Wiles's 10 month old Bitch Puppy Richbourne Silver Surprise with Mr. S. Williamson's 10½ month Dog Puppy Sharouns Heritage taking Reserve.

Best Veteran went to Mrs. J. & Messrs. J. & M. Rawlinson's 8½ year old Dog, Sh.Ch. Wilsbury Wild Fire At Halshimoor J.W.
