Judge's Critiques 

 

Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to Judge your show and to the exhibitors for my very nice entry. It was a very enjoyable day.

 

 

Minor Puppy Dog.  4 (1ABS)

1. Mills               LEMBAS SUPER TROUPER. Yellow, in good coat and condition, excellent pigment, level topline and correct tailset, which kept on the move, good bone . Still very immature , but a promising puppy, moved well.

2. Miles               LLANSTINAN MACNABS. 6mths Chocolate , with good coat, nice head and eye colour , good bone into tight feet. Moved well.

3. White’s           CARPENNY MUSCOVADO WITH ARGHISHALEE

 

Puppy Dog. 8 (2ABS)

1. Minchella ‘s    ABBEYSTEAD NIMROD. Black with lovely head, correct eye shape,ear set and nice expression , good neck and shoulders, in good coat, correct tail set, Moved well once settled. BPD .

2. Stafford’s          KIMVALLEY STAR GAZER AT FARNFIELD. Yellow, in good coat and condition,good bone and feet, well muscled, moved well.

3. Hearn’s             AMBERSIDE CHIANTI CLASSICO.

 

Junior Dog. 4

1. Hodge’s            NAIKEN WAY OUT WEST JW.   Mature chocolate in excellent coat and condition, showing really well. Lovely head and expression, well boned with tight feet, good neck and shoulders, level topline , well developed hindquarters , which shows in the movement , which was very good. RBD.

2. Jury’s                TIBBLESTONE GOSPEL SINGER. Yellow, another in good coat, also moved well  from strong hindquarters, with good bone and feet, neck and shoulders and good topline and tailset.

3. Price’s               ABBEYBROOK AGAINST ALL ODDS.

 

MAIDEN DOG 3(1ABS)

1. Crawford’s        PARAMOUR FANTASY. Black 4th in junior, in good coat, good in neck and shoulders, moved well.

2.  White’s             CARPENNY MUSCOVADO WITH ARGHISALEE. Chocolate, still very immature, and movement a little erratic, in good coat .

 

NOVICE DOG. 7(1abs)

1.   Stafford’s         KIMVALLEY STAR GAZER AT FARNFIELD.

2.   Collins              KASPAIR REMUS. Yellow with good head and expression, good bone and feet, well bodied and level topline, in good condition, lacking animation, but moved well.

3.   Jury’s                TIBBLESTONE GOSPEL SINGER.

 

 

TYRO DOG. 3(2abs)

1.   Lane’s              BRAISG BRAWD. Yellow in good hard condition, Straight front , level topline , moved ok.

 

UNDERGRADUATE DOG. 7(3abs)

1.   Mills                 SANDYLANDS TOY BOY AT LEMBAS. Yellow , with a nice head, eye and expression, a little short of coat, good reach of neck , and good shoulders, correct tailset , moved and showed well.

2.   Moody’s            TRENDLEWOOD FOOL FOR YOU. A Little strong in head, but in proportion, good depth chest and good bone and feet, sound mover.

3.   Price’s                CONINGSBEAR AMBROSE.

 

POST GRADUATE DOG. 6 (1abs)

1.   Carpanini’s         CARPENNY MADE A MILLION. Yellow with lovely shaped head, with good pigment, unfortunately just beginning to lose coat, good bone and feet, level topline  and correct tailset. Good in neck and shoulders, moved well.

2.   Lesley’s              STEELEIGH EXPRESS ORDER JW. Yellow, also losing coat, nice round bone and tight feet, well bodied, with good neck and shoulder placement, moved well with drive.

3.   Stafford’s            FARNFIELD BLACK SPARK.

 

LIMIT. 7 (3abs)

1.   Harvey Major &Allen’s  BROCKBURROW CASSANOVA IN LINJOR JW . Sh CM. Lovely headed yellow with kind expression, good reach of neck and  good shoulder placement. Level topline which kept on the move.  In excellent coat and condition. Showed well. BD.

2 .  Mills                    LEMBAS TOP RANKING JW. Another very nice yellow in good coat and condition, deep chested with good bone into tight feet, well bodied with good neck and shoulders, well angulated hind quarters and  good movement.

3.   Collins                 CARPENNY ORANGE PEKOE BY KASPAIR.

 

OPEN . 4 (2abs)

1.   Carpanini’s          ABBEYSTEAD WYKEHAM OF CARPENNY. Black , just losing coat, Nice head and  expression, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders , lovely feet, level topline and correct tailset, no excess weight , good rear angulation, moved well.

2.   Harvey Major’s    Am/Can CH ROCKYCREEKS ITS ABOUT TIME LINJOR.. Yellow, Straight front with good bone and feet, losing coat but in hard condition. Moved well.

 

SPECIAL WORKING DOG 2  (2 abs)

 

VETERAN DOG OR BITCH. 4

1.   Lesley’s                SH CH STEELEIGH STAR PERFORMER JW.  Black  in better coat than 2nd. Lovely appealing head and expression, with  good neck and shoulders , level topline and correct tailset which kept on the move. Good front with well rounded bone and tight feet. Well bodied without excess weight, and moved well. RBB.

2.  Carpanini’s             CARPENNY WHIST.  Another nice black, which  showed and moved well for her 10years, good neck and shoulder placement , good depth of  chest into, good bone and feet. Enjoying her day.

3.   Young’s                 LANGDALE GOOSEBERRY

 

MINOR PUPPY BITCH. 5

1.    Miles                     LLANSTINAN SUGAR SUGAR. Very pretty 6mths yellow with nice shaped eye , and good pigmentation, in good  coat ,with correct texture, nice tight feet, level topline and good rear angulation. Moved and showed well.

2.    Lesley’s                 STEELEIGH PERFECT SURPRISE. Darker yellow in good coat and condition, good reach of neck,  well bodied , with good  bone, moved well.

3.    Evans                     BOWSIAN UNDER THE MOONLIGHT.

 

PUPPY BITCH 10 (1 abs)

1.   Stafford’s                KIMVALLEY STAR ATTRACTION OF FARNFIELD. Very nice yellow with nice shaped head, with excellent pigment and eye shape. Deep chested with straight front and well boned with good feet. Good shoulder placement and level topline, which kept on the move, correct  tailset, well angulated hindquarters, and good movement. BPB & BPIS

2.   Lesley’s                   STEELEIGH HOT TO HANDLE, Black, just losing coat, showed well when settled, Nice  head with good eye and expression, good in neck and shoulders, good bone and feet, moved well.

3.   Evans                       BRYCHEINIOG LEMON TANGO

 

JUNIOR BITCH 5 (1 abs)

1.   Jury’s                        TIBBLESTONE SKY LARKIN. Yellow with good coat, in hard condition , just right amount of weight, nice head with good pigment and ear placement, good neck and shoulders, and depth of chest, nice tight feet, good topline and tailset, moved well.

2. Hodge’s                      NAIKEN XCLUSIVE DREAM.  Black with lovely head and expression, just out of puppy, good reach of neck, level topline and correct tailset, moved well.

3.   Harvey Major’s         CROSSCROYDE CHIYO for LINJOR.

1.   Lesley’s                    STEELEIGH  HOT SHOT.  Black, stood foursquare, with good topline and tailset, lovely neck and shoulders, good bone and feet, good bend of stifle, and moved really well.

2.   Hodge’s                    NAIKEN XCLUSIVE DREAM

3.   Phillips                      SHEENARON MERRY LITE MY FIRE.

 

UNDERGRADUATE BITCH. 7(1 abs)

1.   Gwinnett-Taylor’s     SUTTONPARK WHISPER. Yellow with nice head and good pigment,nice tight feet, in good coat and condition, good bend of stifle , and moved well.

2.   Stewart’s                    LUDALOR MOONLIGHT OVER STREAMANDA. Well bodied with good  length of neck, into well placed shoulders, good bone and feet,  and good movement.

3.   Mills                           TRENDLEWOOD SING.

 

POST GRADUATE BITCH. 8 (2 abs)

1.    Carpanini’s                CARPENNY MAID FOR ME. Well constructed yellow, just beginning to lose coat, but still enough, nice tight feet and  well rounded bone, nice head and expression, moved well.

2.   Hodge’s                      LINDALL NADIA AT NAIKEN JW. Lovely headed black, very expressive, with good topline and tailset, and well angulated hindquarters.  Good in neck and shoulder, moved well.

3.   Collins                        WARRINGAH’S TARKA BY KASPAIR.

 

LIMIT BITCH 8 ( 5 ABS)

1.   Fox’s                          LANGDALE JIGGERY POKERY AT MERRYWAKE.  Yellow with very nice head and expression, in good coat and condition, with level topline and tailset. Moved well.

2.   Bebb & Sutton’s        KYMIN PLEASURE CRUISER TO COCHEN. Chocolate with a good harsh coat, a little overdone in head , well bodied  and  showed and moved well.

3.   Price’s                        ROWANHOL DANCING QUEEN.

 

OPEN BITCH 4 (1 ABS)

1. Phillips                        SHARDANEL BLUE RIBBON AT SHEENARON. Really lovely yellow , with well shaped  head , and  very expressive  features, with good pigment, in excellent coat and condition, good  neck and shoulders well bodied, without being overdone,  deep chest, with good straight front and well rounded bone and tight feet.  Level topline, which kept  on the move, good bend of stifle, and excellent movement with drive. BB and BIS.

2.  White’s                      CARPENNY CLOVIS WITH ARGHISHALEE. Yellow,  Nice head and expression, good shoulder  placement, moved and showed well.

3.   Joseph’s                    BOWSIAN MISSISSIPPI LADY.

 

BRACE.        

1. Carpanini’s yellows,  moved well together, in harmony and both very similar in type.

2.  Collins       darker yellows which also showed and moved well

3.  White’s. chocolates.
